Frederick Jerome Williams, a 31-year-old father of four, and deacon at his local church can be seen being Tasered at least 5 times point blank in the chest (in less than one minute) while being held down by several deputies in the Gwinnett County Detention Center in a suburb of Atlanta.

Williams had been arrested on a domestic disturbance call, after his wife called 911 asking for assistance as her husband had not taken his epilepsy medication and was acting ‘crazy’ pacing back and forth outside their driveway…

When the first officer responded to the scene an altercation occurred between Williams and the baton-wielding officer that let to 15 more officers being called …

Although repeatedly asked by Williams’ wife and the Deacon of their local church that they should take Williams to the hospital to receive his medication, the altercation between the officers had apparently become a personal one for those involved and they responded by hog-tying Williams and taking him to jail…

They took him to Gwinnett County Jail with shackles on his feet and handcuffed. At the beginning of the video, you can hear him yelling, “Don’t kill me man!” as he was being led into what would be the last room he’d ever see.

Once he was there, eleven officers tried to force Williams into a restraining chair. When he resisted, he was tasered in the chest not once, but five times. In between taser shots, you can hear the officer say, “You want it again?” After the fifth shock, Williams fell unconscious and eventually died.
